West Indies tour of India, 3rd ODI at New Chandigarh. Ruturaj Gaikwad came out to bat early this time, not because of any change up the order, but because India lost both Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli cheaply. In the 1st and 2nd ODIs the top order had already finished the chase off by the time he got in; this time he's had to work for it, surviving two dropped catches along the way. He started slowly, just 9 off his first 24 balls, before a six got him going and he paced up from there. He couldn't convert it into a big one though. Jayden Seales got one to hit the hard length and bounce extra, and a surprised Gaikwad, trying to keep it down off the back foot, could only glove it off the shoulder of the bat to John Campbell at backward point. Gaikwad c Campbell b Seales for 57 off 69 balls, with a four and 4 sixes.
