Joburg Super Kings have confirmed Jamie Overton as their wildcard signing for SA20 Season 5, filling their last open slot after the auction. A wildcard sits outside the salary cap, so JSK did not have to spend from their purse for him. He is also a CSK player.
CSK's Jamie Overton has been named in England's 16-player white ball squads for the ODI and T20I series in Australia, which will be staged in November. Australia's squad is yet to be named, and it will be interesting to see whether Nathan Ellis will be fit or not. Overton was also recently confirmed as Joburg Super Kings' wildcard pick for SA20 2027.
