CSK's Anshul Kamboj bowled an outstanding, tight spell, finishing with 2 wickets for just 22 runs in his full quota of 10 overs, and held the New Zealand batters down from one end, helping India bowl them out for 185 in the first innings. India then chased down the DLS target of 143 in 32 overs, reaching 143/5 in 22.4 overs to win by 5 wickets, and Kamboj was named Player of the Match. It is a great comeback from his last ODI, his debut against the West Indies, where he went for 82 runs in 9 overs without a wicket. There has been a clear improvement in his bowling since the IPL, with his pace too, as he was clocking 135+ on average, and the pitch suited his style of bowling as well.
