Hello Yellow Army!

After action packed Ranji Trophy start with Day 1, it was a very quiet day for our CSK players on day 2 of Round 1 of the Ranji Trophy 2026-27. Only a few got chances to bowl, and rarely anyone batted today. But let's see those who came out for their state today.

At a glance

PlayerMatchDay 2
Anshul KambojHaryana vs Himachal Pradesh4/56 in 28 overs, HP all out for 253
Mukesh ChoudharyMaharashtra vs Services1 (20) with the bat, 0/10 in 6 overs
Ayush MhatreMumbai vs ChandigarhLittle action, Chandigarh following on
Sarfaraz KhanMumbai vs ChandigarhLittle action, Chandigarh following on

Anshul Kamboj: so close to a fifer

Kamboj had a solid start yesterday with 4 wickets, but he couldn't turn it into a fifer and ended up at 4/56 in 28 overs. Himachal Pradesh were bowled out for 253. Haryana are currently at 178/4, so tomorrow we might see him batting as well. Here is his tracker entry.

Mukesh Choudhary: a day of tight bowling

Mukesh started the day with batting but could contribute only 1 run off 20 balls, as Maharashtra slipped from 306/6 to 333 all out after centurion Ankit Bawne was run out for 118. With the ball he bowled 6 overs for just 10 runs, but no wicket yet. See the tracker entry.

Ayush Mhatre and Sarfaraz Khan: very little action

Both had already batted on day 1 (Mhatre made 48 off 82 and Sarfaraz was out for 1 off 6), so there was very little action for them today. Chandigarh are following on and already trail by 351, so it is a high chance that we might miss seeing them batting in the second innings.

Who could be in action tomorrow

Tomorrow could be more action packed for our CSK players, as we might see Aman Khan for Puducherry and Urvil Patel for Gujarat come out in action for batting for their teams. Aman went wicketless on day 1, and we are still waiting for Urvil's turn.

I will add every update on the Super Kings Player Tracker as it comes. Which player are you watching most? Let me know in the comments.

Stay healthy stay yellow.
